Tulsa Women Golfers in 11th Place at Palmetto Intercollegiate

The Tulsa women's golf team opened play at the 54-hole Palmetto Intercollegiate on Sunday with a score of 297 for 11th place in the 20-team field. Junior Nadia Majidizadeh, from Tulsa's Union High School, shot an even-par 72 at the Turtle Point Golf Course to finish the first round in 19th place overall.
 
Tulsa senior Alex Haun and freshman Johanna Samuelsson are tied for 32nd place with rounds of 74 on Sunday. Freshman Mackenzie Medders turned in a score of 77 for 68th place, while senior Antonia Von Wnuck is in 84th place after her opening round 81.

Campbell University holds a one-stroke lead for first place after today's round of 286, while Campbell's Nadine White's opening round five-under par 67 leads the field.
 
Second round action takes place on Monday and the final round will conclude Tuesday.
