Tulsa’s Danielle Hoover Named The American Women’s Soccer Rookie of the Week

Tulsa student-athlete Danielle Hoover was named as the American Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week, as announced today by the league office. This was Hoover's first weekly accolade and the first for TU this season.
Hoover scored the game-winning goal in the Golden Hurricane's 2-1 win over SMU on Thursday and turned around and assisted on the game-winner in the 1-0 victory over Houston. She had three shots, one of which was on goal, one goal and one assist on the week. She played 133 minutes for a 66.5 minute per game average.
Tulsa returns to action on Thursday, October 8 against USF. Game time is set for 6:00 pm Central in Tampa, Fla.
