Tulsa Women’s Golf Team Signs Top Junior Golfer to National Letter-of-Intent

Greta Bruner, ranked 26th nationally in the 2016 class of junior golfers, has signed a national letter-of-intent with The University of Tulsa, Head Coach Emilee Klein-Gille announced today.
 
Bruner, from Conroe, Texas, is ranked seventh in the state of Texas and 42nd nationally among GolfWeek's top recruits for 2016. Bruner qualified for the U.S. Junior Girls Championship in 2015 held at the Tulsa Country Club.
 
In 2015, she won the Texas Legends Junior Tour Bluebonnet Championship with rounds of 71-73 and the Vera Edwards Memorial Invitational (67-73). Bruner also placed second at the AJGA Insperity Invitational and third at the AJGA Annual Bubba Conlee National Junior Tournament (75-71-73). She also finished in a tie for fifth place at the Junior PGA Championship Qualifier in 2015 with identical rounds of 73.
 
Bruner won the Eddie Burke Sr. Young Houstonian (73-76-68) and the Greater Houston City Junior Matchplay Championship, both coming in 2014.
 
Bruner plays her prep golf at The Woodlands High School.
