ST. THOMAS, USVI – The Tulsa men's basketball team plays Indiana State in the semifinals of the 2015 U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam against Indiana State at 5:30 p.m. CST/7:30 p.m. AST Sunday at the University of the Virgin Islands Sports and Fitness Center.

The Golden Hurricane (3-0) defeated Ohio, 90-88, on Friday afternoon after overcoming a 19-point second-half deficit. The Sycamores (2-1) defeated Norfolk State 70-61 on Friday night. The winner of Sunday's contest will play at 8 p.m. CT Monday in the Paradise Jam championship game, while the losing team will play at 5:30 p.m. CT Monday, against either South Carolina or Hofstra.
 
The game will be broadcast on Big Country 99.5 FM and the Golden Hurricane Radio Network, and televised on CBS Sports Network.

The Series
This is the 43rd meeting between Tulsa and Indiana State. Tulsa leads series, 28-14. Tulsa won the last meeting, 63-62, in 2013 at the Great Alaska Shootout in Anchorage, Alaska. The Golden Hurricane has won five in a row in the series, dating back to 1994. The last meeting prior to 2013 was in 1996, a 111-75 TU win in Tulsa. The last Indiana State win was 86-74 in 1993 in Terre Haute. The teams first met in 1970, a 79-72 ISU win. The Sycamores won the first seven meetings in the series. Tulsa's longest winning streak in the series was six games, from 1986-88. The teams met each year from 1978-96, as members of the Missouri Valley Conference.

•  Tulsa is 3-0 to start a season for the first time since 2012-13.

•  Woodard ranks 11th in TU career scoring with 1,455 points, and sixth with 191 career 3-pointers.
•  Harrison ranks fourth at TU with 193 career steals, and eighth with 336 career assists.
•  Brandon Swannegan has 123 career blocks, ranking fifth in TU career history.
•  Tulsa is playing this season with nine seniors – the most seniors on one roster in the country.
•  The Hurricane returned 97 percent of its scoring and 98 percent of its minutes to the team in 2015-16 – one of only five schools in the country to return at least 90 percent of its scoring and minutes this year.
•  The Golden Hurricane is in its second season as a member of the American Athletic Conference.
•  Tulsa is in its second year season under the direction of head coach Frank Haith. In his first season, the Hurricane posted a 23-11 overall record and a 14-4 conference record. TU finished second in the American Athletic Conference regular season, played in the semifinals of the conference tournament, and reached the second round of the postseason NIT.
