Tulsa Volleyball Plays Host to UCF and USF

TULSA, Okla.— The University of Tulsa volleyball team returns to the Donald W. Reynolds Center to wrap up the 2015 regular season with a pair of American Athletic Conference matches taking on Central Florida Wednesday, Nov. 25, at 5:00 p.m., and South Florida on Friday, Nov. 27, at 2:00 p.m.

The Golden Hurricane (14-16, 9-9 American) split its pair of conference matches last weekend, when it defeated UConn, 3-1, but lost to Temple in three sets.

Last weekend, Central Florida (14-16, 8-10 American) lost both of their conference matches, losing to both Memphis and Cincinnati in three sets. The Bulls (10-20, 7-11 American) split their conference matches last weekend, defeating Memphis, 3-1, but losing to Cincinnati, 3-1.

Tulsa is led by, junior outside hitter Erica Bohannon whose performance has earned her ranks nationally in total attacks, total kills, and total points. Bohannon ranks 19^th nationally in total attacks with 1.343, 24^th in total kills tallying 484, and 30^th in total points with 532. Junior libero Brooke Berryhill has also earned national notoriety ranking 23^rd in total digs with 589, and 38^th in digs per set with 4.91. Sophomore setter Sophie Bethke has facilitated the offense so effectively that she's earned placement among the top-75 nationally in two different categories, assists per set and total assists. Bethke ranks
25^th in total assists with 1,248, and she is 70^th in assists per set with 10.4.

When Tulsa takes on Central Florida Wednesday it will be the 15^th match-up in program history. Tulsa leads the series 11-3. Earlier this season, the Hurricane defeated the Knights, 3-1.

Friday's match against South Florida will mark the fourth meeting in program history. Tulsa leads the series 2-1. TU defeated the Bulls in four sets earlier this season.
