Tulsa Track & Field Announce 2016-17 Signing Class

TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa track and field team signed seven athletes, six women and one man, to national letters-of-intent from the 2016-17 signing class, announced today by Head Coach Steve Gulley.

On the women's side, the Golden Hurricane signees include Breonna Hall (Oklahoma City, Okla.), Adrena Mazzei (Tulsa, Okla.), Ashley Barnes (Bartlesville, Okla.), Reagan Hausmann (Highlands Ranch, Colo.), Jenny O'Bryan (Saint Paul, Kan.), and Allison Bailey (Springfield, Mo.). Hall will begin taking classes at TU in January 2016, while the rest of the signees are set to enroll in August 2016. The class includes four distance runners and two sprinters. Carter Bradford (Yukon, Okla.), distance runner, is the lone representative of the 2016-17 signing class on the men's side. Bradford is set to enroll at TU in August 2016.

Below is a look at each of the signees:

MEN

Carter Bradford
            •Has personal bests of 2:00 in the 800m, 4:27 in the 1,600m, 9:55 in the 3,200m, and 15:56 in the 5,000m XC
            •11^th place finish at the 2015 OK 6A State XC Meet
            •Seventh place finish at the 2014 OK 6A State XC Meet
            •Finished seventh in the 2014 6A State Track & Field Championships 1,600m with a time of 4:27

WOMEN

Breonna Hall
            •Has personal bests of 25.14 in the 200m, and 55.97 in the 440m
            •2015 OK 3A State Champion in the 400m with a time of 57.04
            •2015 OK 3A State Runner-Up in the 200m with a time of 25.32
            •2014 OK 2A State Champion in the 400m with a time of 55.97
            •She went undefeated her junior year in the 400m

Adrena Mazzei
            •Has personal bests of 2:12 in the 800m, 4:37 in the 1,500m, 4:57 in the 1,600m, 10:12 in the 3,000m, and 11:23 in the 3,200m
            •2015 USATF Junior Olympics Gold Medalist 1,500m & 3,000m
            •2015 USATF Junior Olympics Silver Medalist 800m
            •2015 OK 4A State Champion in the 1,600m with a time of 4:57
            •2015 OK 4A State Champion in the 3,200m with a time of 11:23
            •2015 OK 4A State Runner-Up in Cross Country
            •Won the 2015 OK Meet of Champions with a time of 18:55
            •2014 OK 4A State Cross Country Champion

Ashley Barnes
            •Has personal bests of 5:11 in the 1,600m, 10:27 in the 3,000m, 11:33 in the 3,200m, and 7:08 in the 2,000m Steeple
            •2015 USATF Junior Olympics 3,000m Runner-Up with a time of 10:27
            •2015 OK 6A 1,600m fourth place finish with a time of 5:15
            •2015 OK 6A 3,200m fourth place finish with a time of 11:44
            •2014 OK 6A Cross Country State seventh place finish with a time of 19:04

Reagan Hausmann
            •Has personal bests of 2:17 in the 800m, 5:08 in the 1,600m, 11:24 in the 3,200m, and 18:08 in the 5,000m XC
            •2015 Nike Cross Regionals Southwest Small Schools Champion with a time of 18:08
            •2015 CO 4A State Cross Country fourth place finish with a time of 18:54
            •2015 CO 4A State Track & Field Championships (7^th in 800m, 6^th in the 1,600m, 10^th in the 3,200m)

Jenny O'Bryan
            •Has personal bests of 5:22 in the 1,600m, 11:09 in the 3,200m, and 18:54 in the 5,000m XC
            •2015 KS 1A State Cross Country Champion with a time of 20:06
            •2014 KS 1A State Cross Country Champion with a time of 15:46 (4k)
            •2013 KS 1A State Cross Country Champion with a time of 16:13 (4k)
            •2015 KS 1A State Champion in the 1,600m with a time of 5:25
            •2015 KS 1A State Champion in the 3,200m with a time of 11:26
            •2014 KS 1A State Champion in the 3,200m with a time of 12:10

Allison Bailey
            •Has personal bests of 26.07 in the 200m, 56.75 in the 400m, 2:12 in the 800m, 5:24 in the 1,600m, and 19:28 in the 5,000m XC
            •2015 MO 5A 400m fifth place finish with a time of 57.97
            •2015 MO 5A 800m third place finish with a time of 2:16
            •2015 Nike Festival of Miles 800m fourth place finish with a time of 2:12
            •2014 MO 4A 400m fifth place finish with a time of 57.86
            •2014 MO 4A 800m sixth place finish with a time of 2:16
