Taylah Eder will come to Tulsa from Christchurch, New Zealand, where she attended and competed for Saint Margaret's College.  Eder has been an outstanding rower for her school earning medals at the South Island Scholastic Championships among others.  She also has earned medals at the prestigious Aon Maadi Cup, including silver in the 2013 U16's and gold in the 2015 U18's in the Eight.

"I am a huge fan of Taylah," said Harris.  "She fit right in with our team when she visited last fall and it's clear she is going to go far at Tulsa.  I am impressed with her love for the sport and the fact that she always expects to compete at a high level.  She is tough, smart and athletic.  She also brings great competitive results from her racing in New Zealand.  Her family has been wonderfully supportive of her and Tulsa through this process and I am looking forward to coaching her over the next four years."

Elizabeth McCabe comes to Tulsa from Brockville, Ontario, Canada, where she competed for her high school the Brockville Collegiate Institute.  At BCI, Elizabeth helped her team to a three-year run of making the finals at the Canadian Secondary Schools Championships.  That run culminated in 2015 with a championship in the Senior Women's 4+.  McCabe continued her winning ways during the summers rowing for the Brockville Rowing Club.  She earned many medals at the Row Ontario Championship and Canadian Henley Regattas, competing against many Ontarians who will soon become her teammates at Tulsa.  McCabe won the U17 4+ gold at Henley in 2013, and won two gold medals at the 2015 Row Ontario Championships in the U19 Four and Eight.

"I have followed Lizzie for over two years and I have always loved her competitiveness," said Harris.  "She is exactly the type of athlete that we look for and have been able to find in Canada.  She knows how to work and loves getting after it on the water.  Lizzie comes from a family of competitors that have strongly supported seeing her at Tulsa because they believe in our program.  I am excited to see her here."
