Tulsa Women’s Tennis Team Plays Host To No. 15-Ranked Baylor on Saturday

TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa women's tennis team plays host to No. 15-ranked Baylor at 12:00 noon on Saturday, Jan. 30, at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, home of the 2016 Division I Men's and Women's Tennis Championships.
 
The No. 48-ranked Golden Hurricane approaches its third weekend of competition with an overall 5-1 record. Last weekend, TU took down No. 53-ranked Marshall, 4-0, before falling to No. 5-ranked North Carolina, 4-0, as part of the ITA Kick-Off Weekend in Chapel Hill, N.C.
 
On Saturday, Tulsa will face Baylor's No. 12-ranked doubles pair, Blair Shankle and Kiah Generette.
 
After taking on Baylor, the next four opponents for TU are all ranked within the top-50 nationally. Next weekend, Tulsa travels to Fayetteville, Ark. to take on No. 36-ranked Arkansas.
