Tulsa Golfers Place 17th at the Arizona Intercollegiate

The Tulsa men's golf team finished in 17th place at the Arizona Intercollegiate Saturday. The Golden Hurricane turned in its best round of the tournament with a final 18-hole score of 303 at the par-71 Sewailo Golf Club.
 
Tulsa freshmen Marc Kepka and Jack Knoesel turned in tournament-best rounds of 74 on Saturday. Kepka finished in 57th place with a final score of 231, while Knoesel's 54-hole total was 234 for 64th place. Francisco Yanez finished in 72nd place with a 237 score, Matthew Marquez placed 77th with a score of 240, while Sam Humphreys' score of 244 put him in 81st place.
 
Texas captured the team title with a score of nine-under par 843, while the Longhorns' Beau Hossler won individual medalist honors with a score of 11-under par 202.
 
Tulsa will be in action next at the UTSA Oak Hills Invitational, February 8-9, in San Antonio, Texas.
