Basketball Season Less Than a Month Away

With the men's basketball season officially tipping off in less than a month, head coach Frank Haith met with the media Tuesday to give an update on preseason practice and his restocked 2016-17 squad. The team is in its second full week of practice, preparing for the first exhibition game on Nov. 2.

Season tickets for the 17-game home schedule are on sale, starting as low as $210. Tickets can be purchased by visiting the TU Athletics Ticket Office in the Donald W. Reynolds Center, or by calling 918-631-GoTU (4688).

The Golden Hurricane faces Oklahoma Christian on Nov. 2 and Northeastern State on Nov. 7 in its exhibition contests at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. The season opener is Friday, Nov. 11 against Jacksonville State at 7 p.m. at the Reynolds Center.
