In singles play, Majed Kilani and Daniel Santos advanced after winning their round of 32 matches in the morning before bowing out of the tournament in their afternoon matches.

Okkie and Francois Kellerman teamed up in the doubles round of 16, defeating Meraut and Nathan Roper of Oklahoma State in a tightly contested 8-6 match to advance to the quarterfinals tomorrow. The Kellerman duo will look for a semifinal birth tomorrow against Piotr Baranski and Alex Pozo of Southern Illinois.

After receiving a first-round bye into the round of 64, Kilani put in a solid performance as he defeated Chris Dean of Nebraska in straight sets, 6-4, 6-3. Kilani fell behind in his round of 32 match against UMKC's Airam Castellano after falling in the first set 6-3, but bounced back in the second to send it the distance with a 6-3 win of his own. The sophomore could not pull off the rally as he fell to Castellano in the third, 6-2.

Santos' run continued after winning his opening round match yesterday as he dropped just three games in a straight sets win over Saint Louis' Oscar Pachon 6-2, 6-1 to move to the round of 32. Santos run would end in the round of 32 as he was defeated by Tristan Meraut of Oklahoma State 6-4, 6-3.
