Elliott Named American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Week

Tulsa's Kendrian Elliott was named the American Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Freshman of the Week, as announced today by the league office.
 
Elliott, a forward from Wichita, Kan., scored 11 points and earned a start in her first collegiate contest.  She added four rebounds and a block in 17 minutes, while shooting 57.1-percent from the field and 75-percent from the charity stripe. 
 
"I thought Kendrian gave us a solid outing in her first college game," Head Coach Matilda Mossman said.  "She has a chance to really have an impact on our program as the season progresses."
