TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa Volleyball team heads back out on the road for two American Athletic Conference matches, beginning with a contest against East Carolina tomorrow at 6 p.m. before taking on preseason conference favorite Cincinnati on Sunday at noon.

The Hurricane (15-9 overall, 4-8 AAC) defeated ECU (14-8 overall, 4-8 AAC) in four sets at the Reynolds Center in their opening weekend of conference play on Sept. 24, outscoring the Pirates by 23 over the final three sets to complete the win. Tulsa leads the all-time matchup against ECU 15-1 dating back to 2005, having taken 15 straight meetings after losing the inaugural matchup. Both squads head into the seventh week of The American play tied for eighth in the league.

Tulsa travels to Cincinnati (15-8 overall, 10-2 AAC) Sunday to take on the Bearcats having dropped a highly contested five-set match that ended TU's nine-match winning streak in the The American opener for both teams back on Sept. 22. Cincinnati is led by 2015 Freshman of the Year Jordan Thompson's 4.81 kills per set and currently stand second in the conference.

TU will return home to the Reynolds Center for four straight matches after their road trip, taking on USF and UCF Nov. 10-12 before wrapping up home conference play against SMU and Memphis on Nov. 16-18.
