Tulsa Women Golfers Finish 14th After Final Round Rained Out

The Tulsa women's golf team closed out the fall season after rains overnight in the Dallas area washed out today's final round at the Trinity Forest Invitational. On Monday, play was limited to one round as poor weather conditions in Dallas played havoc with the field at the par-72 Trinity Forest Golf Club course. The tournament was shortened to 36 holes with the final 18 holes scheduled to be played on Tuesday, but conditions forced the final round cancellation.
Tulsa finished in 14th place after scoring a round of 330 on Monday, while Michigan won the team trophy with a 304 total.
Tulsa sophomore Anneke Strobach had the best round for the Hurricane with a seven-over par 79 for 35th place. Freshman Greta Bruner and senior Nadia Majidizadeh scored rounds of 83, while sophomores Mackenzie Medders and Olivia Jackson finished with scores of 85 and 88, respectively.
Tulsa opens the spring season at the Amelia Island Collegiate, February 20-21, at the Amelia National Golf Course in Fernandina Beach, Fla.
