TU Family,
The news of our bowl berth in the Miami Beach Bowl is the next chapter of what has been a very exciting 2016 fall campaign. As we seek to claim our 10th win of the season, I want to personally thank our donors, ticket holders and fans for your support throughout the season and invite you to be a part of our bowl experience.
This season has been a great success and we are thankful for the support of our fans and the Tulsa community. Head Coach Philip Montgomery has built a great foundation for continued success. We are committed to building upon that foundation and are working hard to develop a program of consistent excellence going forward.
It has been a joy to watch our young men rewarded for their hard work and efforts. I am proud of everyone in and around our program for how they have represented our community and University.
I want to personally invite our fans to join us in celebrating the accomplishments of these young men. Whether you have the opportunity to travel to participate in the bowl festivities and attend the game or follow along through our website and social media channels we want you to be a part of this exciting time. Please consider purchasing tickets to donate for students or military personnel to attend the game or perhaps make a gift to the Golden Hurricane Club, the engine behind our student-athlete experience.
Once again, thank you to our fans for your continued support. We hope you are enjoying and celebrating the success of this year and the role you played in it. We look forward to more success in the future and building a program that our fans, our University, and our city can be proud of.
