Tulsa Golfers in 13th Place at UTSA Oak Hills Invitational

The Tulsa men's golf team sits in 13th place following two rounds Monday at the UTSA Oak Hills Invitational. The Hurricane carded rounds of 301 and 306- for a 36-hole total of 607 at the par-71 Oak Hills Country Club. Tulsa freshmen Jack Knoesel sits in 18th place with a two round total of 147, after carding an opening round 72 and a second round total of 75.
 
Red-shirt freshman Sam Humphreys is one shot behind Knoesel with a 148 total for 20th place. Humphreys shot rounds of 72 and 76. Freshman Preston Crawford opened with a score of 81, then turned in a two-over par round of 73 to finish the day in 55th place with a total of 154. Junior Francisco Yanez is in 73rd place at 160 and freshman Marc Kepka in 78th place with a score of 161.
 
Oklahoma and Baylor lead the 15-team field by 11 strokes as the two Big 12 teams turned in day one totals of 575. Baylor's Freddy Andersen sits in first place individually with a total score of two-under par 140.
 
Tournament action will conclude on Tuesday with tee times beginning at 7:30 a.m.
