TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa's senior backcourt of James Woodard and Shaquille Harrison were both selected to the National Association of Basketball Coaches District 25 First Team, the NABC announced Friday.

Woodard and Harrison also earned all-district honors last year, as Woodard was a first-team selection and Harrison was a second-team selection in 2015. This is the third all-district honor for Woodard, who was a second-team selection in 2014.

Woodard, a 6'3" guard from Arcadia, Okla., led the Golden Hurricane with 15.4 points per game, and averaged 5.3 rebounds and 2.5 3-pointers per contest. He ranked third in the American Athletic Conference in scoring and second in 3-pointers per game. He ended his career ranked fourth in TU career scoring (1,881 points) and second in 3-pointers (261), and was just the third Tulsa player to record 1,800 points and 700 rebounds. He was also named to the All-American Athletic Conference First Team each of the last two years.

Harrison, a 6'4" guard from Kansas City, Mo., led the team with 5.5 rebounds per game, and averaged 15.1 points, 4.1 assists and 1.9 steals per contest. He ranked first in the league in steals, fifth in assists and seventh in scoring. He ended his career ranked second at TU in assists (461), third in steals (244) and 11th in scoring (1,481 points). He is the only player in Tulsa history to start every game of his four-year career, and the only player to compile 1,300 points, 400 assists and 200 steals. He also earned second-team All-American Athletic Conference honors each of the last two years.
