Tulsa Men Golfers in 15th Place at Little Rock/First Tee Classsic

The Tulsa men's golf team is in 15th place after the opening two rounds Monday at the Little Rock/First Tee Classic. The Golden Hurricane turned in rounds of 313 and 312 for a 54-hole total of 625 at the par-72 Chenal Country Club.
Freshman Jack Knoesel ended the day in 36th place with rounds of 73-79 for a 152 score, while Matthew Marquez enters final round action in 62nd place with a score of 157. Francisco Yanez and Sam Humphreys were just one stroke behind Marquez with scores of 158 and tied for 67th place. Preston Crawford is in 84th place with a 177 total
Lipscomb University led after the first day with a score of 589, while Tennessee-Martin's Hunter Richardson led the individual field after identical rounds of 71 on Monday for a two-under par 142 total.
Teams begin final round action Tuesday morning.
