Ksenia Laskutova Earns Conference Player Of The Week Honors

TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa women's tennis sophomore Ksenia Laskutova was named the American Athletic Conference Women's Player of the Week Tuesday, after posting a 2-0 record to help the Golden Hurricane upset No. 24 Kansas last weekend.
Laskutova picked up her singles win in two quick frames defeating KU's Smith Hinton, 6-3, 6-3. In doubles play, Laskutova teamed up with Renata Kuricova to defat the nation's No. 68 doubles team in Janet Koch and Khmelnitckaia, 6-2.
This season Laskutova has posted an impressive overall 19-3 singles record, and since beginning dual play she has compiled an impressive 9-2 singles record. Laskutova is riding a four-match win streak in singles play.
The talented sophomore has registered an overall 18-6 doubles record, and since beginning dual play she's posted 9-4 doubles record.
