UPDATE: Schedule Changes for Softball Series at Memphis

TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa softball team is at Memphis for a three-game American Athletic Conference series. Due to inclement weather in Memphis, the schedule has been changed. Friday's game has been postponed, and the teams will now play a doubleheader Saturday beginning at noon. Sunday's contest is still set for noon a start.
 
The Golden Hurricane enters the weekend at 28-15 overall and 5-7 in conference play, while the Tigers are 24-26 overall and a matching 5-7 in league play. With two weeks left in the regular season, Tulsa and Memphis are tied for third place in The American.

Tulsa and Memphis have played 28 times. Tulsa leads the series, 24-4. The Golden Hurricane has won six in a row and 13 of the last 16 in the series. The last Memphis win in the series was 7-6 in Tulsa in 2012.
 
Junior third baseman Maggie Withee leads Tulsa with a .377 batting average, and has totaled 40 runs, eight doubles, 20 walks and a .453 on-base percentage. Freshman designated player Julia Hollingsworth hits .372, has totaled 25 RBI and 23 runs and posted a .439 on-base percentage. Sophomore shortstop Shelby Estocado hits .320 with a team-high 10 home runs and .623 slugging percentage, and has seven doubles, 34 RBI and 38 runs. Freshman second baseman Morgan Neal hits .304 with seven extra base hits and 25 runs scored. Junior left fielder Maddie Withee leads Tulsa with 40 RBI, and hits .302 with six doubles and six home runs.
 
Senior Caitlin Sill leads Tulsa in the circle with a 1.75 ERA and a 15-8 record. She has allowed a .240 opponent batting average, 34 earned runs and 124 hits in 136.1 innings. Sophomore Emily Watson is 10-7 with a 2.55 ERA, has 138 strikeouts and has allowed 30 earned runs on 82 hits and a .218 opponent batting average in 98.2 innings.
 
Tulsa is hitting .297 with 243 runs, 217 RBI, 56 doubles, 25 home runs, eight triples, a .428 slugging percentage and a .380 on-base percentage. The Hurricane pitchers have posted a combined 2.28 ERA with 242 strikeouts in 273.0 innings, and allowed a .240 opponent batting average, 253 hits and 89 earned runs.
