Tulsa Rowers Race at Knecht Cup this Weekend

The Tulsa rowers will take to the road for the first time this season to compete in the Knecht Cup on Mercer Lake in West Windsor Township, N.J. Racing will take place on Saturday and Sunday, April 9-10.
TU will be competing in the Varsity 4+, 2nd Varsity 4+, Varsity 8+, 2nd Varsity 8+ and Lightweight 8+.
"We are really looking forward to the Knecht Cup this weekend," Head Coach Kevin Harris said. "Tulsa will see 33 teams from around the country including our American Athletic Conference rivals SMU, Temple and UConn. Our goal is to solidify and strengthen our race plan as we move toward the midpoint in our season. The Knecht Cup is ideal for that because it's a large regatta format with heats, semifinals and lots of very serious competition. There should be all kinds of challenges this weekend and we are looking forward to representing Tulsa well."
