TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa Head Men's Tennis Coach Vince Westbrook was one of six head coaches named to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Board of Directors, as announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association on Friday.

The new Board of Directors will serve two-year terms beginning on July 1, 2016. The new Board structure will include 17 directors, six tennis coaches, a University President, college Athletic Directors, several executives and entrepreneurs.

Westbrook's previous experiences helped land him one of the six ITA Member Coach positions.

Westbrook has previous experience from being on the NCAA National Tennis Committee, including being the Region V Chairman. During the last 15 years, he has served on the ITA National Board of Directors and the ITA Operating Committee.

The construction of Michael D. Case Tennis Center is one of Westbrook's greatest achievements. He has been instrumental in Tulsa hosting one of the nation's premier collegiate tennis events at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, called the Saint Francis Health Systems ITA All-American Men's Tennis Championships.
