The men are back in action today in quarterfinal action at the NCAA Division I Men's & Women's Tennis Championships at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
Sunday's play begins at 12 noon with top-seed and defending champion Virginia facing #9 Florida, and #5 Ohio State against #13 California. The 4:00 p.m. matches feature the Oklahoma Sooners, seeded 11th, against the No. 3 seed and 16-time national champion UCLA, while No. 2 North Carolina of the ACC will face No. 7 Georgia.
The women's semifinalists were decided on Saturday as two of those teams – #6 Vanderbilt and #15 Stanford – have won the national title previously and the other two teams – #1 California and #12 Oklahoma State – will be looking to continue its run for their first national championship. Stanford is a 17-time champion, while Vanderbilt won its first crown last year.
