
Or Ram-Harel Set to Compete in Opening Round of NCAA Division I Men’s Singles Championship

TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa men's tennis junior and 48th nationally ranked singles player Or Ram-Harel is making his second appearance in the NCAA Men's Tennis Singles Championship on Wednesday, May 25, at 3:00 p.m. when he will take on Northwestern's 20th-ranked singles player Konrad Zieba, as announced today by the NCAA.
Earlier this season, Ram-Harel lost to Zieba, 6-4, 6-2, and Northwestern went on to win the match in a 4-1 decision.
The two-time all-conference singles selection has compiled a 31-31 career record in singles play. He helped lead Tulsa to back-to-back runner-up finishes in the American Athletic Conference Championship.
Ram-Harel was ranked as high as 21st in singles play, which is the highest ranking reached by any Tulsa men's player this season. He was also nationally ranked in the top-50 for singles play seven times this season.
If Ram-Harel advances he will take on the winner of Southern California's Nick Crystal and Virginia Tech's Joao Monteiro on Thursday, May 26.
