Softball Concludes Regular Season at Oklahoma State Tuesday

TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa softball team concludes the regular season with a non-conference contest at in-state rival Oklahoma State at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cowgirl Stadium in Stillwater.
The Golden Hurricane enters the week at 31-18 overall, while the Cowgirls are 27-22 overall. TU defeated OSU, 9-0, on April 6 in Tulsa. Live stats will be available on www.TulsaHurricane.com.
This will be the 44th meeting between Tulsa and Oklahoma State. The Cowgirls lead the series, 26-17. The Hurricane has won seven in a row in the series, including a 9-0 win on April 6 in Tulsa. TU also won 3-0 at home and 2-1 in on the road last season. The last OSU win was an 8-3 decision in 2012 in Stillwater, and OSU also won 7-4 in Tulsa that season.
Junior third baseman Maggie Withee leads Tulsa with a .387 batting average, and has totaled 45 runs, eight doubles, 21 walks and a .454 on-base percentage. Sophomore shortstop Shelby Estocado hits .340 with a team-high 11 home runs and .625 slugging percentage, and has eight doubles, 39 RBI and 45 runs. Freshman designated player Julia Hollingsworth hits .339, has totaled 28 RBI and 27 runs and posted a .402 on-base percentage. Junior left fielder Maddie Withee leads Tulsa with 44 RBI, and hits .336 with seven doubles and six home runs. Freshman second baseman Morgan Neal hits .308 with seven extra base hits and 26 runs scored.
Senior Caitlin Sill leads Tulsa in the circle with a 1.89 ERA and a 17-10 record. She has allowed 44 earned runs and 156 hits in 162.2 innings. Sophomore Emily Watson is 11-8 with a 2.47 ERA, has 156 strikeouts and has allowed 39 earned runs on 88 hits and a .210 opponent batting average in 110.1 innings.
Tulsa is hitting .299 with 272 runs, 243 RBI, 64 doubles, 27 home runs, eight triples, a .420 slugging percentage and a .376 on-base percentage. The Hurricane pitchers have posted a combined 2.32 ERA with 274 strikeouts in 320.0 innings, and allowed a .242 opponent batting average, 300 hits and 106 earned runs.
Tulsa is the host for the American Athletic Conference Championship, which begins Thursday, May 12 at the Collins Family Softball Complex. The tournament runs through Saturday, May 14, and tickets are on sale at the TU Athletics Ticket Office, online at www.TulsaHurricane.com, or by calling 918-631-GoTU until 5 p.m. Wednesday. All-session tickets can be purchased for $20 for adults and $10 for youth aged 2-17. Single session tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth.
