Tulsa to Race Lightweight 2x and Lightweight 4+ at IRA National Championships this Weekend

The University of Tulsa will be represented by two boats, the Lightweight 2x and Lightweight 4+, at the IRA National Championships this weekend.  The regatta will take place on Lake Mercer in Princeton, N.J. 
 
Audrey Brown and Lindsay Crute will compete in the Lightweight 2x, while Sam Barber, Emalia Seto, Julia Herrel, Annie Martin and Madeline Oleksiak will race in the Lightweight 4+.
 
The Golden Hurricane will take on crews from Boston, Georgetown, Princeton, Radcliffe and Wisconsin in the Lightweight 4+ Heat, and Oklahoma City, Princeton and Wisconsin in the Lightweight 2x Heat.  If needed, the teams will compete in the Repechage on Saturday, before competing in the Finals on Sunday.
 
"We are exited to be heading to the IRA National Championships this weekend," said Rodney Mott, Head Coach of Lightweight Rowing.  "We're looking forward to racing top competition in the Lightweight 4+ and Lightweight 2x events.  The preparation has been solid and we are ready to rise up to the challenge and put our training to the test."
