Corey Henderson Jr. is a 6-4 junior guard from Dallas, Texas, in his first year at Tulsa, after transferring from Blinn College in Texas, and spending one year at Wichita State. He averaged 14.8 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists last year at Blinn College. In high school, Henderson played for his father at Episcopal School of Dallas. Corey Sr. played basketball at Texas A&M when TU head coach Frank Haith was an assistant coach there.
