Lindsay Crute and Emalia Seto were named to the 2016 Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) All-Academic team.  A total of 336 student-athletes from 37 institutions were honored.

"I am really proud of these two women as they were really our only upperclassmen that competed at this year's IRA National Championship," Head Coach of Lightweight Rowing Rodney Mott said.  "They have set a great example for their underclassmen counterparts in their hard work and dedication to excellence both on the water and in the classroom."

For a student-athlete to be eligible, he or she must be at least a sophomore in standing and completed one full year at his or her respective institution; maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.35 or higher; earn an institutional letter; and compete at the 2016 IRA Regatta.

Crute raced the Lightweight 2x to a fourth-place mark, while Seto was a member of the Lightweight 4+ that finished sixth overall at the 2016 IRA National Championship in June.
