Rennie Advances to Finals at 2016 Canadian Track & Field Championships

Braydon Rennie, an upcoming sophomore on the Tulsa track team, won his 1,500 Meters semifinal to advance to tomorrow's championship race in the 2016 Canadian Track & Field Championships in Edmonton, Alberta.
 
Rennie's time of 3:56.85 was the second best on the day, behind Brendan Hoff (3:56.27).  Rennie has already been selected to represent Canada at the World Juniors in Poland.
 
Also racing on Saturday is Ben Preisner, who will be a junior in the fall at Tulsa.  He will compete in the 3,000m Steeplechase for a spot on the Canadian Olympic team.
