Tulsa's Erica Bohannon Unanimously Named Preseason All-Conference

TULSA, Okla. - The University of Tulsa's Erica Bohannon was unanimously named to the American Athletic Conference Preseason All-Conference Volleyball Team as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon.
Bohannon, a senior outside hitter from Coppell, Tex., finished the 2015 regular season ranked 13th nationally in kills with 515 while ranking 18th in points with 567 on her way to being named First-Team All-AAC for the second consecutive season. Bohannon headlines a Golden Hurricane team that features six seniors and returns 11 letterwinners from last year's fourth place finishing squad.
Tulsa was tabbed seventh in the preseason poll with 48 points as voted on by the coaches. The Golden Hurricane finished last season with a 15-17 overall record with a 10-10 mark in American play.
The Golden Hurricane will open their 2016 campaign as the hosts of the Hurricane Classic on Aug. 26-27, featuring Alabama, South Dakota, and Incarnate Word.
