Tulsa Women’s Soccer Hosts Oral Roberts and Ole Miss in Final Non-Conference Contests

The Tulsa women's soccer team will host crosstown rival Oral Roberts and Ole Miss in the final two regular season non-conference games. The TU-ORU match is set for 5:30 pm on Friday, Sept. 16, while the TU-Ole Miss game is set for 7:00 pm on Sunday, Sept. 18, at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.

Tickets are $5 general admission and can be purchased at the north ticket gate, online at TulsaHurricane.com or by calling the TU Athletic Ticket Office at 918.631.4688.

The first 100 fans to Friday's game will receive a "Reign 'Cane" magnet.

Fans unable to attend the match in person can watch it live on TulsaHurricane.com/watch. There is a 24HR Pass, a Monthly Pass and Yearly Pass that allow you to watch all TU home men's and women's soccer, volleyball and softball games depending on the package purchased.

Tulsa has a 3-4-1 overall record this season and are looking to snap a two-game losing streak. Under the direction of Head Coach Kyle Cussen, TU has tallied a 37-7-4 home mark in non-conference games, including a 2-2 mark so far this season, for an 81-percent winning percentage.

The Golden Hurricane is led by Rachel Thun with five goals and four assists for 14 points, while Tana Dake adds two goals and three assists for seven points. McKenzi McAdams, Anna Williams and Christina Holmes all have two goals on the season as well. Rebecca Defer and Courtney McKeon have combined for 45 saves this season in 742 minutes between the posts.

Oral Roberts has a 4-4 overall record this season, but are 1-3 when not playing on their home field. The Golden Eagles are led by Caitlyn Hanslovan and Lexi Jones with two goals apiece, while six others have one score. Ryliegh Bohnenstiehl and Paige Vincent have split time in goal, combining for 35 saves and two shutouts.

Ole Miss will play LSU on Friday, but enter the weekend with a 4-4 mark as well. The Rebels are led by Addie Forbus with seven goals. Marnie Merritt has played the majority of minutes in goal and has collected 19 saves and three clean sheets.
