Tulsa in 14th Place After Two Rounds at the Lady Paladin Invitational

The Tulsa women's golf team is in 14^th place after two rounds at the Lady Paladin Invitational, while senior Nadia Majidizadeh moved up 22 spots from 30^th place into 8^th place on Saturday. The Hurricane team carded a second round score of 304 for a 36-hole total score of 603 at the par-72 Furman University Golf Course.

Majidizadeh, from Tulsa's Union High School, carded a second round score of 70 for a 36-hole total of 143. On the day, Majidizadeh had three birdies and one bogey for her two-under par round. Freshman Greta Bruner is just one stroke back with a 144 score, following today's round of 74, and sits in a 14^th place tie going into Sunday's final round. Bruner shot even-par golf most of the day, except for bogey's on the par-4 first hole and on the par-5 11^th hole.

Freshman Taylor Dobson and sophomore Johanna Samuelsson are tied for 91^st place with two round scores of 158, following identical rounds of 84 today. Sophomore Olivia Jackson's round of 84 gives her a total score of 164 after second round action.

Texas and Furman share the team-lead with a 36-hole total of 9-under par 567. Furman's Alice Chen has the individual lead with a two round total of 139.

The final 18 holes will be played on Sunday.
