Tulsa in 14th Place After Two Rounds at the Lady Paladin Invitational

The Tulsa women's golf team is in 14th place after two rounds at the Lady Paladin Invitational, while senior Nadia Majidizadeh moved up 22 spots from 30th place into 8th place on Saturday. The Hurricane team carded a second round score of 304 for a 36-hole total score of 603 at the par-72 Furman University Golf Course.

Majidizadeh, from Tulsa's Union High School, carded a second round score of 70 for a 36-hole total of 143. On the day, Majidizadeh had three birdies and one bogey for her two-under par round. Freshman Greta Bruner is just one stroke back with a 144 score, following today's round of 74, and sits in a 14th place tie going into Sunday's final round. Bruner shot even-par golf most of the day, except for bogey's on the par-4 first hole and on the par-5 11th hole.
 
Freshman Taylor Dobson and sophomore Johanna Samuelsson are tied for 91st place with two round scores of 158, following identical rounds of 84 today. Sophomore Olivia Jackson's round of 84 gives her a total score of 164 after second round action.
 
Texas and Furman share the team-lead with a 36-hole total of 9-under par 567. Furman's Alice Chen has the individual lead with a two round total of 139.
 
The final 18 holes will be played on Sunday.
