Baseline to Baseline: Rebecca Lescay

For each of the following three weeks we will get an inside look at the three Tulsa women's basketball newcomers: Rebecca Lescay, Morgan Brady and Krystan Vornes.

Today's Baseline to Baseline features Rebecca Lescay.

Lescay, a four-year letterwinner from Liberty High School, led LHS to a 122-22 mark in four seasons, including a Texas State Finals appearance as a junior.  She averaged 13.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 2.5 steals and 1.4 blocks per game as a senior, and was a three-time TABC all-state and all-region selection.

"Rebecca is a hard-nosed kid that knows how to win," Tulsa Head Coach Matilda Mossman said.  "She has a great background in terms of her teams' success, as well as her discipline and structure.  We think she'll be someone we can count on in the No. 2 and No. 3 spots.  She will add toughness to the guards.  She is one of those kids that when the game is over and you look at the stats, she has quietly tallied assists, steals and rebounds."
