Golden Hurricane Back at Home This Week

TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa will be back at the friendly confines of the Reynolds Center for two American matchups against ECU, on Thursday, Oct. 26, at 7 p.m., and against Cincinnati, on Saturday, Oct. 28, at noon.

The Golden Hurricane leads the overall series, 16-2. ECU defeated Tulsa, 3-1 (15-25, 25-20, 25-19, 25-20), earlier this season. The Pirates defeated Memphis on Friday, 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-20), before they lost to No. 18 Wichita State on Sunday, 3-0 (25-16, 27-25, 25-19). Lael Ceriani leads ECU with 267 kills. Brandee Markwith ranks second in the conference with 432 digs and 32nd in the country.

Cincinnati leads the overall series, 5-3. The Bearcats won the meeting earlier this season, 3-1 (25-18, 18-25, 25-11, 25-21). The Bearcats were knocked off by No. 18 Wichita State on Friday, 3-0 (25-22, 30-28, 25-19), before they defeated Memphis on Sunday, 3-0 (25-16, 25-22, 27-25). Carly Nolan leads Cincinnati with 336 kills, second in the conference. Jade Tingelhoff leads the Bearcats with 809 assists, second in the conference. Nolan also leads the Bearcats with 254 digs.
