Tulsa Women’s Soccer Team Hosts UConn and Temple This Week

The Tulsa women's soccer team returns home for a pair of conference games, including UConn on Thursday, Oct. 5 at 7:00 pm and Temple on Sunday, Oct. 8 at 1:00 pm, at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.

Tickets are $5 general admission and can be purchased at the north ticket gate, online at TulsaHurricane.com or by calling the TU Athletic Ticket Office at 918.631.4688.

Fans unable to attend the match in person can watch it live on TulsaHurricane.com/watch. There is a 24HR Pass, a Monthly Pass and Yearly Pass that allow you to watch all TU home men's and women's soccer, volleyball and softball games depending on the package purchased.

The Golden Hurricane has a 3-9-2 overall record, including a 1-3 mark in American Athletic Conference play. Rachel Thun-Blankenship has team-bests of three goals, four assists and 10 points, while Addyson Guthrie, Christina Holmes and Danielle Hoover all have two scores. Courtney McKeon has logged a majority of minutes in goal for 80 saves and one shutout.

The Huskies have a 3-5-3 overall record and a 1-1 mark in The American. Kess Elmore has a team-leading five goals and 11 points, while Mollie Kerrigan and Courtney Hofer have combined for 41 saves and a 1.17 goals-against average.

The Owls have a 5-5-1 mark, including a 1-1 record in league play, but will face Memphis before coming to Tulsa. Gabriella McKeown, Elana Falcone and Kerri McGinley all have three goals on the season to lead Temple. Morgan Basileo and Jordan Nash have nearly split time in goal for 56 saves and four clean sheets.

UConn has a 3-0-1 lead in the all-time series with Tulsa, including a 4-2 win a year ago, while after earning a 2-1 win last season Tulsa edged Temple in the series, 2-1.
