LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The University of Tulsa senior Henry Pearce competed in his second NCAA Division I Cross Country Championship race on Saturday morning, finishing 220th with a 10K time of 32:00.0 at E.P. Tom Sawyer Park.

Pearce qualified for the race by earning all-region honors with an eighth-place finish at the NCAA Midwest Regional on Nov. 10 in Ames, Iowa. That came on the heels of a ninth-place finish at the American Athletic Conference Championships, where he helped the Golden Hurricane to its eighth straight conference title, dating back to its days in Conference USA.

The Loughborough, England, native ran five races during his senior campaign, setting a career best with his 10K run at the NCAA Midwest Regional (29:18.43).
