Track & Field Starts Indoor Season in Kansas

TULSA, Okla. – The Golden Hurricane opens the indoor portion of the 2017-18 campaign on Saturday, Dec. 2, as it travels to Lawrence, Kansas for the Bob Timmons Challenge.
Both the women's and men's teams will take a combined 32 athletes to compete at the Bob Timmons Challenge. 16 women and 16 men will represent Tulsa in the opening meet. Field events begin at 1 p.m., with men's weight throw. The Track portion of the meet starts at 3 p.m. with the women's 3,000-meter run.
