Rapp Named The American Co-Field Athlete of the Week

TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa Track and Field freshman Aleks Rapp was named The American Athletic Conference Co-Field Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference on Tuesday morning.
 
Rapp (Toronto, Canada) broke his own school-record in the weight throw with a toss of 20.85m (68-5.00) at the Gorilla Classic in Pittsburg, Kan. Rapp's toss marks the longest throw in The American and the 23rd best mark in the NCAA this season,
 
The Track and Field team will be back in action at the Alex Wilson Invitational on Friday, Feb. 17 in South Bend, Ind.
