Ram-Harel and Kilani at #23 in Latest ITA Doubles Rankings

TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa Men's Tennis team added two to the latest ITA Rankings as released by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association on Wednesday morning. The Hurricane (4-4 overall) rank two singles players in the poll while entering the top-25 in doubles play.
 
Or Ram-Harel jumped 23 spots in the poll as he entered the top-25 ranked No. 23 nationally. The senior has had success against top-25 ranked opponents on the season, going 2-1 while defeating No. 6-ranked Christian Sigsgaard and No. 23 William Bushamuka, both in straight sets. The ranking marks the second highest that Ram-Harel has been ranked in his career, with the highest coming on September 15 of 2015 at No. 21.
 
Sophomore Majed Kilani made his way back into the rankings as he comes in at #115 in singles play. Kilani is 6-8 on the year but has faced nine nationally ranked opponents in 14 matches that includes a three-set comeback win over Texas' #36 Yuya Ito during Tulsa's win over the top-five ranked opponent in dual play.
 
Kilani and Ram-Harel have had success in doubles play as well this season, compiling a 6-2 record with one win over a ranked opponent to slide into No. 23 in the latest doubles rankings, the highest doubles ranking for a TU pairing since March 25, 2014.  

The Men's Tennis team is in action on Friday when they travel to Knoxville, Tenn. to take on Tennessee at at 5 p.m.
