Tulsa Rowers Ready to Race at the Sunshine State Invitational

The University of Tulsa rowers will take to the water at Sunshine State Invitational at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Fla., on Friday and Saturday, March 31 and April 1.
 
TU will be racing Alabama, Jacksonville, Kansas State, Miami, North Carolina, Stetson, UCF and USF in the Heats on Friday and in the Finals on Saturday.
 
"We are very excited to make this trip to Florida," Head Coach Kevin Harris said.  "This is just the second time we've made a regular season trip to Florida in four years.  The competition will be incredibly fast, and it is always nice to go up against our American Athletic Conference opponents in UCF and USF.  This will be a good early season test to see what our speed is, where we need to go and what we need to change moving forward."
