Tulsa Track Athletes Take First-Place at Mt. Sac Relays

Torrance, Calif. –– Marc Scott used another great kick to win the 5,000-meter Invite Elite race at the Mt. Sac Relays as the Tulsa senior turned in a time of 13:37.45, edging out Arkansas' Jack Bruner (13:38.15) for first place.

Tulsa's Henry Pearce out-paced 32 other runners in the men's 10,000-meter Open B division with a winning time of 29:41.12.

The next best performance for the Hurricane at the Mt. Sac Relays came in the women's 10,000m Open A division as Nicole Lee finished 6^th among 37 participants with a time of 35:08.01. Clarla Langley placed 13^th in the 10,000m women's Open B division in a time 36:18.31.

Ben Preisner finished in 12^th place in a field of 27 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase Invite Elite race with a time of 8:50.75, while Isaac Dobos placed 19^th among 63 participants with a time of 9:05.93 in the men's 3,000m steeplechase Open C division.

Luke Traynor finished 13^th among 64 runners with a time of 29:15.44 in the men's 10,000-meter run Invite Elite race.
