The University Tulsa and The Ohio State University will meet for the second time on the football field when the Golden Hurricane travels to Columbus to face the Buckeyes on September 18, 2021.
The two schools met for the first time on the second weekend of the 2016 football season, as the No. 4-ranked Buckeyes claimed a 48-3 victory in front of 104,410 fans at Ohio Stadium, the largest crowd ever to witness a Tulsa game.
It will be the second time in three seasons that Tulsa's non-conference schedule will include a Big 10 opponent. Tulsa is scheduled to play in East Lansing, Michigan, against the Michigan State Spartans to kick-off the 2019 campaign.
In the history of Tulsa football, the Golden Hurricane has played Big 10 schools Iowa, Indiana and Minnesota in addition to the Ohio State meeting last season.
As it currently stands, Tulsa is the smallest FBS school with an undergraduate enrollment of 3,473, while Ohio State is the third-largest with an enrollment reaching over 55,000 students.
