
Ram-Harel Advances to Round of 32 with Straight Sets Win

ATHENS, Ga. – Or Ram-Harel advanced to the round of 32 at the NCAA Singles Championship for the second straight year with a straight sets win in the round of 64 as he defeated No. 35-ranked Joshua Daigle of LSU 6-3, 6-4 on Wednesday morning at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.
The No. 34-ranked Ram-Harel moved to 11-12 on the season and picked up his sixth win over a nationally ranked opponent as he controlled the match against Daigle in both sets after a month layoff between his last match.
The Tulsa senior will face a seeded opponent in No. 5 Christopher Eubanks of Georgia Tech, who also won his opening match in straight sets. The match is scheduled for tomorrow at 10 a.m. CT with a spot in the Round of 16 on the line.
