Top-Seeded Tulsa Opens Up The American Championship on Friday Afternoon

TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa Softball Team will open up the American Athletic Conference Softball Championship on Friday at 12 p.m. central time and 1 p.m. local time in Greenville, N.C. against either No. 4-seed USF or No. 5-seed Memphis in the tournament semifinals. The Hurricane (37-15 Overall, 15-3 The American) enter the tournament as the top-seed after claiming the regular season crown.
Tulsa swept USF in the first league series of the year while taking the Memphis series 2-1 at the Collins Family Softball Complex.
The semifinal contest can be viewed on The American Digital Network while the championship game on Saturday is scheduled at 11 a.m. CT and Noon ET on ESPN.
