
Scott to Run 5,000-Meters Tonight at NCAA Outdoor Championships

EUGENE, Ore. – Eight-time All-American Marc Scott will run his final race for The University of Tulsa Track and Field team tonight as he is set to run in the 5,000-meters at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships at 9:25 p.m. CT on ESPN. The senior heads into tonight's run having finished as the runner-up at the national meet in the event during the indoor season.
The North Yorkshire, England native enters Friday's race with the fifth fastest time in the nation, running 13:37.45 at the Mt. SAC Relays on April 13. Scott became Tulsa's second national champion his last time out on Wednesday as he took first place in the 10,000-meters.
