Tulsa Track & Field Programs Earn USTFCCCA Academic Honor

NEW ORLEANS — The University of Tulsa men's and women's track & field programs earned All-Academic Team honors for the 2016-17 season by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, it was announced on Thursday.
The men's squad posted a cumulative GPA of 3.394, which ranked ninth among the 142 men's programs that were recognized. Meanwhile, the women's team recorded a 3.398 GPA to be selected among the 218 women's programs.
To qualify for the award, team's must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
