The Tulsa women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to TCU in the final preseason contest on Sunday evening at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.
Kayla Hill scored an early goal for the Horned Frogs as she headed in a cross from Yazmeen Ryan with just 2:26 ticked off the clock. Neither team found the back of the net for the remainder of the contest as TCU picked up the 1-0 win.
Anna Williams had a team-best two shots, while six others had one attempt. Courtney McKeon played the most minutes in goal for the Golden Hurricane with 32:18 and had two saves. Rebecca Defer logged 30:09 minutes between the posts, while Kelsey Brann earned 27:33 in goal.
The Horned Frogs had a 10-8 lead in shots, while both teams had four shots on goal, and Tulsa had an 8-6 edge in corner kicks.
Tulsa will open the regular season against Central Michigan in the Kansas Invitational on Friday, August 18 in Lawrence, Kan.
