USTFCCCA Preseason National Coaches' Poll

NEW ORLEANS — The University of Tulsa men's cross country team is ranked 20th in the NCAA Division I Men's Cross Country Preseason National Coaches' Poll, which was released by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Tuesday.

The ranking is the highest for the Golden Hurricane to start the season since it checked in at No. 18 prior to the start of the 2014 campaign.

On Monday, the USTFCCCA released its preseason regional rankings with Tulsa as the No. 4 team in the Midwest Region behind Oklahoma State, Iowa State and Illinois.

The Golden Hurricane will open its season on Friday, Sept. 1, at the Cowboy Preview in Stillwater against Oklahoma State, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
