
TU Student-Athletes Collecting Supplies for Victims of Hurricane Harvey at Truck Location on Campus

The University of Tulsa Athletics is collecting various items for victims of Hurricane Harvey. The collection takes place this week, Tuesday-Friday, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and next Saturday, from 12- 3 p.m.
Items will be accepted and loaded into a semi-truck located at Lafortune Hall Parking Lot (8th Street, between South Gary Ave. & South Gary Place). TU Athletics partner, Miller Truck Lines, has provided the truck and will be transporting the items to Houston to assist with the relief efforts.
Items accepted include:
Bottled Water
Personal Care products: Antibacterial soap, shampoo, hand sanitizer, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, hair brushes and combs, feminine hygiene products, body wipes, etc.
Baby and infant supplies: Diapers, wipes, diaper rash ointment, baby wash, baby lotion, non-perishable baby food, bottles, pacifiers, etc.
Paper products: Toilet paper, paper towels, etc.
Comfort Necessities: Blankets, towels, pillows, etc.
It is recommended not to bring clothing items.
Some families of the over 30 Golden Hurricane student-athletes from the Houston-area have been affected by the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey.
Remaining Hours of Operation include:
Tuesday-Friday: 5-9 pm
Game Day, Sept. 9: 12-3 pm
