TULSA, Okla. ––On Saturday, H.A. Chapman Stadium will become the fourth venue in the state of Oklahoma to have a POW/MIA 'Chair of Honor' located in the facility. The city of Tulsa's ONEOK Field and BOK Center and the state capitol in Oklahoma City already have added the unoccupied seat that is dedicated to those American service members who have been missing in action in all wars since World War I.

Prior to the Tulsa-Navy game this Saturday, Rolling Thunder Oklahoma, the Oklahoma Chapter of National Veteran Advocacy with a mission of POW and MIA awareness, will dedicate and unveil a POW/MIA 'Chair of Honor' at Chapman Stadium. The ceremony will take inside the stadium gates on the west plaza area near the Press Box entrance, and begins at 1:30 p.m. Fans attending the ceremony must have a game ticket.

The unoccupied seat will forever be reserved at The University of Tulsa to honor prisoners of war and those missing in action.

The Oklahoma Rolling Thunder in conjunction with JPAC works to help bring America's fallen soldiers home to identify and bury them in their final resting place. Since World War I there are still more than 82,000 American Service members missing or unaccounted for, including 187 military members hailing from the state of Oklahoma.

This Saturday's game is Oklahoma Ford Military Appreciation Day, where TU football and their fans honor and recognize retired and active military members, and remember those who have given their lives for the United States of America. Kickoff is slated for 2:32 p.m.
